Christmas Gift

Dear beloved, today I would like to present to you the greatest Christmas gift :
Luke 1:26-30
" REJOICE highly FAVOURED one, the LORD IS WITH YOU; BLESSED are you among women!..You have found favour with God."

1 ▪ REJOICE my friends! Just as the angel brought a special greeting of joy to Mary so we are also greeted with the same joy from heaven. Hallelujah! We know that the Joy of the Lord is our strength. Apostle Paul said in Phl 4:4 (Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice!)
- Ps. 33:1 (Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful.)
Let's rejoice with music, songs, dance and celebrate Jesus with all our hearts, not just on special occasions like this but daily.

God wants you to rejoice because :
2 ▪ You are Highly favoured one.
- Ps. 30:5 (His favour is for Life, weeping may endure for a night,
But Joy comes in the morning.)
- Luke 1:30 declares that you have found favour with God. - Amen!

If you are highly favoured one, than for sure...
3 ▪ The Lord is with you. His glorious presence is with us!
- Luke 1:31-33 (He'll be called Jesus, Son of the Highest...)
His name is JESUS - He will save His people from sins. He shall be called Immanuel - "God is with us." ( Matthew 1:21-23)

If God is with us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31). We are truly a blessed generation.
4 ▪ Blessed are you my dear friends.
Why do you think Mary is called "blessed"? It's because in Luke 1:34-35 it's written
("...The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.")
Likewise if you believe in this Saviour Jesus, you too are blessed.
- Acts 1:8 (Jesus said: "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.")
We are amazingly blessed because of the divine gift of the Holy Spirit to be God's chosen ambassadors on earth.

Beloved, as we celebrate the birth of our King of kings and Saviour Jesus Christ our LORD of lords,  let's receive: His gift of Joy and shout 'Rejoice!'; His unmerited Favour that will help us to show favour to the needy; His Presence that'll reveal Christ in us to others and His awesome Blessings that'll overflow from us to the world He loves.

"Joy to the world the Lord is come, let us receive the King of glory...
Blessed Christmas & have a Favour filled New Year!"

What it means to be religious?

What it means to be religious?
He/She..
1.does not condemn others
2.knows how to tame their tongue
3.speaks the truth with wisdom
4.acts in godly love
5.servant-hearted
6.helps the needy & those who are afflicted
7.being a good testimony/example
8.keep themselves unstained/undefiled
9.keeps their heart pure & mind focused
10.totally dependent on God

Jam 1:26-27
26 If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless. 27 Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

Thank God for 2012 & Excited for 2013! - KJ's praise report

Dear beloved of God, thank you for standing with us in prayer and fellowship. We are excited for 2013 which will definitely be another year of great breakthroughs, new encounters, unexpected moments like ‘water turning into wine’ experiences, God knitted friendships, strong relationships and even more of God’s abundance but we can’t forget all the good and awesome things that the Almighty has done throughout 2012.

What a privilege to see and experience the working of God in our lives last year like a potter patiently shaping the clay according to his heart’s desire. We saw how God by His divine grace brought in resources to build our family and ministry in His own appointed time.

We were touched and strengthened by some individuals - friends and relatives - that are close to our hearts and were blessed by a local mission team from Putra Aman Assembly (PAA), Selangor and even people who come from foreign land to help add values and colours to our ministry.

Though we don’t know each other but the mission group especially the World Race teams from America were connected to us by God’s divine appointment. They become like a family to us and worked hand in hand to fulfil God’s agenda in our ministry areas.

They not only help us teach the students English with character but gave a facelift to our learning centre. They did not only sow seeds of love and courage in the lives of many students of various races and age group but left a great marks of remembrance on the walls of KJ Generation Resources (KJGR) in Gua Musang, Kelantan.

Below are some of the mural painting that has beautified our centre:

We are truly thankful not only to the mission teams but to all those who have add colours into our lives and blessed us in one way or another especially in the area of prayers, fellowship and finance since we started this mission in 2009 to touch and transform the lives of people we come in contact daily.

We believe that every God given mission is “Possible” and we’ll continue to expand and extend His kingdom here and anywhere He assigns us. To God be all the glory.

Shalom!
with love & regards:

Dear God, Help Us!

Dear God, help us to heal
and not to hurt anyone
help us to love
and not to hate another.

Dear God, help us to forgive
and not to give in to unforgiveness
help us to stay humble
and not to be proud.

Winds of change may come
but help us to stay calm
Circumstances should not change our focus
Going high or low is norm
but help us to prevail the storm                           strengthen our hearts
to keep staying focused.

We are not able unless
You make us stable
Only in You
we are strong
to do all these things.

Dear God, thank you for healing us
so that we can be the healing to the nations
Dear God, thank you for loving us
so that we may share your love  to the world

Thank You God for Your help!

LIGHT + TRUTH = LIFE

THE psalmist prayed: O send out Thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto Thy holy hill, and to Thy tabernacles.  (Psa 43:3 KJV)

What a genuine prayer request that’s full of dependence on God, great expectation and deep desire to be connected with God and His divine purpose.

When my family and I first moved to Gua Musang, Kelantan (which is like a foreign land to us) about 3 years ago, the LORD taught us to take ownership of the town and to use Isaiah.60 to make declaration over the town and our own lives. Daily, we as a family will speak blessings over the land by declaring: “Arise & Shine Gua Musang for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. We, Kumar-Josephine family have come to be a blessing to your land, now arise and be a blessing to us.”

About six months later, physically there were street lights fixed along the main road of Gua Musang and recently the council added beautiful artificial trees full of coloured lights and for a first time a floral design of the sun which is the symbol of light is used as a welcome note to Gua Musang in the centre of the new town. Amazingly, many other developments are taking place in this so called small railway town.  (Gua Musang literally means Fox Cave....More updates later)

1)  Send Your Light & Truth!
It’s not just a statement of request but a passion of a hungry soul for a fresh revelation of God. The revelation was made clear in Joh 1:1-5 KJV (In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  (2)  The same was in the beginning with God.  (3)  All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.  (4)  In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.  (5)  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.)

By this we know that God is not just “Light & Truth” but He is the divine empowerment that’s ever willing to share His “Life” with those who believe. (Joh 8:12 KJV  Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.)

It’s just like this, when we ask God for His Light & Truth, He gives them generously to us by compressing them into a dynamite shell called “Life in abundance” (Joh 10:10 KJV  ...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.) When His life empowerment rejuvenates us, we become His lights (Mat 5:14 KJV  Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.)

We who have received His light, truth and the fullness of His life cannot be hidden any longer but have the dynamite power to shine forth in darkness and the darkness itself can never comprehend it or understand this revelation of Christ.

2) Let them lead me

When we learn to trust in God’s light & truth and lean not in our own understanding, the Spirit of God by His love and grace will direct our path and lead us into all truth.
(Pro 3:5-7 KJV  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  (6)  In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths;
Joh 16:13 KJV  Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.)

3) Let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles

Our dependency must never be in our own strength, talent or wisdom but in God and God alone. Just as the psalmist says: Psa 121:1-2 KJV  I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  (2)  My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

David once said:  Psa 27:4 KJV  One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

Friends, if we desire for more of God...remember that God too desires for more of us and that’s why He brings His Light & Truth that produces Life to live inside of us – The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit decided to dwell inside of us, His temple (Joh 14:23 KJV  Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.)
The Bible made it clear that we the believers are the temple of God, and the Spirit of God dwells in us. (1Co 3:16)

If we have God’s Light and Truth in us, then we surely have His Life in abundance. Now, without doubt we can believe Rev 21:3 KJV  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.) Amen!
God always keeps His promises, no matter what. Isn’t that amazing?

Let’s Proclaim Liberty! (Part 2)

CAN you imagine, on a regular weekend service at your church, the preacher walks up to the pulpit, takes up a scripture, reads it and then gets back to his seat.

You probably prepared your mind to hear at least a 30 minutes to an hour of power packed sermon to motivate and keep you going. I’m sure the congregation will be filled with questions and want to know what went wrong. “Pastor, are you alright?” “Hope you are not angry with us.” “Didn’t you prepare your sermon?” “Oh no, looks like he’s in a bad mood.” And the list may go on.

When Jesus came to Nazareth where He had been brought up, as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read. He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah and when He opened the book, He found the word, read it, and then He closed the book and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all those in the synagogue were fixed on Him. The people marvelled at His gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. They can’t believe that a carpenter’s son can preach like that.

Almost the same scenario but two different responses. Jesus’ short message made an impact. It’s not the length of the message that matters but its impact on the hearers. What actually made the people in the synagogue to be astounded at Jesus’ saying? Let’s see in Luke 4:16- 30.

Now, listen to the voice of Jesus declaring: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”

I believe, when Jesus made this declaration, He actually took the scripture upon Himself and gave life to it by proclaiming the year of Favour (Jubilee) over the people. In verse 21, He said: “Today the scripture is fulfilled in your hearing”. Wow!

Do you have the faith to believe this? If you’ve heard it, then believe it. If you believe; you shall surely see the glory of God! The fulfilment of the scripture will be TODAY as you hear it with believe.

Friends, take note of this: The congregation that bore witness and marvelled at the gracious words of Jesus were the same people who transformed into a violent mob with a murderer spirit. They rose up to kill Jesus the next moment. Why? We’ll look into this sometime soon.

Anyway, Situations around us can change anytime or can go from bad to worst - the evil days are here. People are so zealous to establish their own righteousness and not submitting to the righteousness of God. But we have an obligation: Beloved, the word is near you, so proclaim it. Why wait? (Rom 10:8-13)

No matter what happens, perceive the Word of God with God-kind of faith and declare it as your own. My family and I are practicing this (making declarations) and seeing results. You say it, you got it!

Let’s declare: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, He has anointed me to preach; He has sent me to heal; I’m assigned by God Almighty to proclaim liberty to the captives, to liberate those who are oppressed and to proclaim the year of favour. Amen!”
