Kejujuran Tuhan

Kejujuran Tuhan pada manusia
Membangkitkan rasa-rasa indah
Keikhlasan diri kita pada Dia
mestilah dikekalkan hingga akhir nyawa

Jauh perjalanan banyak pemandangan
kata orang dahulu kala
biarlah perjalanan ke haluan Maha Kuasa
semoga pemandangan mencuci dada noda

Alunan suara dari pukulan ombak
sering menyebutkan namaNya
tiupan angin juga menyanyikan namaNya
oh Tuhan, oh Tuhan, oh Tuhan sering kedengaran

Burung-burung kicaukan nama Esa
apa lagi kita insan ciptaan khas Maha Kuasa
walaupun kita tidak menyebut namaNya yang sungguh indah,
namun, Tuhan masih jujur kepada umatNya.

Go for 9!!! Go for Humanity

Go for 9!!! Go for Humanity
A NATION BUILDING EVENT
Date: 9 September 2009 Time: 9.00am @Central hub venue: Berjaya University College of Hospitality,Berjaya Time Square
What is it?
An attempt to set the Malaysia Book of Record Event for the largest simultaneous patriotic singing network chain will be made on 9 September 2009.
On this day, at least 9 members from 9 x 99 institutions, corporate, organizations, public sector and members of the public will be invited to participate in this event by singing, ‘This Is My Country’, an original composition written especially for the nation followed by the national anthem ‘Negaraku’. The song will take approximately 4 minutes.
Logistically the event will be held at different locations simultaneously with a central hub acting as a stage to focus the activities. VIPS and local artistes/singers will gather at the central hub for the event. The targeted groups will gather at their respective locations to sing at the appointed time.
What will be achieved?
“Go for 9” is more than just an attempt to break the Malaysia Book of Records for the largest simultaneous patriotic singing. The event is positioning itself to create a change of perception towards our nation. Many today are caught up with the exigencies of life and have no time for the nation. Some have settled into apathy, thinking that things will not change. “Go for 9” is a symbolic event to challenge the views of both spectrums of society.
This is a nation building event. When we each have given 5 minutes on this one occasion, the spark to ignite a paradigm shift may well just have been started. If you think this is just an event, you will have missed it. This is the 5 minutes that can change a nation and shed off its culture of indifference, lethargy and despondency.
This will send a message that it is possible to give 5 minutes for the nation. More importantly, it will tell the nation that we can build a better tomorrow when Malaysians from all walks of life are willing to give just a few minutes of their time without any motive other than to further the cause of the nation… just imagine what could be achieved and what issues could be resolved when the number is multiplied. It’s time to dream again.
Why Go for 9?
9 is the symbol for humanity and we need to be reminded that it is not only healthy, but imperative to just be human once again. Before we can get to 1 Malaysia, we need to go for 9.

BE FORMED BEFORE BRINGING REFORMATION

Jeremiah was divinely called by God in his youth. He was a heart broken prophet with a heart breaking message. He labors for more than 40 years proclaiming the prophetic message from God. His broken heart causes him to write a broken book. His message and action declares: “Surrender to God’s will is the only way to escape calamity.”

Jeremiah carried a message of reformation and for that reason he himself must go through the process of being formed again and again to fulfill the purpose of God.

I believe, if we are eager to bring reformation to a particular group of people or a city or any nation, than we must first of all allow God the Almighty to form us by His darba* word.

Our ears, mouth and eyes must be formed and sanctified physically and spiritually in the ‘womb of the Spirit of God’ so that we can experience the new birth of a spiritual man that cannot be shaken.

In John 3:1-10, Jesus explains to Nicodemus about being born again. (See the full reference below).

Jeremiah chapter one will help us to understand the process of Re-Formation very clearly. Allow me to show you step by step.

1) We need to have EARS to Hear His voice
Jer 1:1 The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin,
Jer 1:2 to whom the Word of Jehovah came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.
Jer 1:3 It also came in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, to the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah, king of Judah, to the exiling of Jerusalem in the fifth month.
Jer 1:4 And it happened, the Word of Jehovah came to me, saying,…

The word of God come to Jeremiah continuously at different times and under different kings and until Jerusalem went into captivity.

We need to be formed in the area of our spiritual ears, so that we can hear the voice of God clearly before we can be the channel to bring about the reformation in our community.

(Jer 1:5 Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I consecrated you, and I ordained you a prophet to the nations.)

We got to understand that it is God who formed us and knew us even before we were formed in our mother’s womb. He sanctified us, ordained us as a prophetic generation to the nations. Wow! That’s truly amazing.

Many times, our excuse is that we cannot speak boldly because we are youths or too old or inexperience, but God believes in us more than we do by motivating us to go to places where He sends, speak what He commands us and not to be afraid because He is with us to deliver us.
(Jer 1:6 Then I said, Alas, Lord Jehovah! Behold, I do not know to speak; for I am a boy.
Jer 1:7 But Jehovah said to me, Do not say, I am a boy; for you shall go to all that I shall send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak.
Jer 1:8 Do not be afraid of their faces; for I am with you to deliver you, says Jehovah.)

2) We need to have MOUTH to Speak His words.
Jer 1:9 And Jehovah put forth His hand, and touched my mouth. And Jehovah said to me, Behold, I have put My Words in your mouth.

Allow God to touch our mouth, so that we will not speak evil, slander, gossip, lie, utter bad words, curse, deceive and etc.
Let God put His words in our mouth. (His words are truth, deliverance, healing, power , love and life).

Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God.

We must not only be proud to be the mouth piece of God but be bold to speak His proceeding word at all times, in any circumstances and with humility.

3) We need to have EYES to See God’s vision
Jer 1:10 Behold! (See) I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
Jer 1:11 And the Word of Jehovah came to me, saying, Jeremiah, what do you see? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
Jer 1:12 And Jehovah said to me, You have seen well; for I will watch over My Word to perform it.
Jer 1:13 And the Word of Jehovah came to me the second time, saying, What do you see? And I said, I see a boiling pot; and its face is from the face of the north.

We got to learn to see (with our spiritual eyes) what God is seeing.
The Bible indicates that God is ready to Perform His Word but we the church got to have the prophetic eyesight and be visionaries to know God’s divine plan and patterns.

First of all, we need to see our stature in Christ and understand our spiritual position to know what we got to actually uproot, pull down, destroy, to throw down and to build and to plant.

We got to see with our spiritual eyes first before God can give us a revelation about it.
(Jer 1:14 And Jehovah said to me, Out of the north an evil will be set loose on all the inhabitants of the land.
Jer 1:15 For, behold, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, says Jehovah. And they shall come, and they shall each one set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its wall all around, and against all the cities of Judah
Jer 1:16 And I will pronounce My judgments against them regarding all their evil, those who have forsaken Me, and burned incense to other gods, and worshiped the works of their own hands.)

*Conclusion:-
Ø Therefore prepare yourself and arise (Be prepared in season and out of season!) and speak whatever you hear from God without giving excuses.
(Jer 1:17 And you must gird up your loins, and arise, and speak to them all that I command you. Do not be terrified at their faces, lest I prostrate you before them.)

Ø Behold (see) “I have Made you this day…”
If we trully understand this powerful statement, than no one can shake us or even try to shape us in their image. We are made by God in His perfect image. We ought to be Christ like.
(Jer 1:18 For, behold, I have made you a fortified city this day, and an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against its rulers, against its priests, and against the people of the land.
Jer 1:19 And they shall fight against you; but they shall not overcome you. For I am with you, says Jehovah, to deliver you.)

So my dear friends, I believe that we need to have:

to hear the voice of God &

to proclaim His Word &

to see what He sees.

First and foremost, we must be reformed in the womb of the Holy Spirit before we can bring Reformation wherever we are and wherever God assigns us.

Amen.

SUCCESS

Success may visit you
at any moment of life
Success would stay on
when you’ve paid the price
It’s like the harvest
after sowing the seeds
waiting, watering, nurturing
then comes the season of harvesting.

Success has two friends
by the name "Courage" and "Perseverance"
Success has enemies too
and they are called "Stinginess" and "Jealousy"
Success has a vehicle called "Integrity"
It’s a gift of God and lasts to eternity

"Good Samaritan"

ONE afternoon my wife and I were playing some outdoor games with our three kids and our niece near the car park of my in law’s apartment. We were really enjoying ourselves, shouting, laughing and some times panting chasing either the shuttlecock or the ball. It was real fun and a time to exercise.

As I was playing with my 8 years old son, Kenrick Jabez, the ball flew over the fence and fell on the back lane. To pick up the ball, we got to take a long walk to go over the other side. As we were walking together, we heard a distend sound of a kitten meowing. We followed the sound and found the kitten trapped inside a drain.

My son was sad and felt pity for the kitten. He told the little weak cat: “Don’t worry, I am Jesus’ son, I will some how help you, just hang on.” I was astonished at his statement. After that, he started pestering me to safe the poor kitten. I got no choice, eventhough some of my family members were worried about my safety. I choose to find ways to help the kitten. So with the help of my son, I prostrate on the ground near the drain and reached out my hands and managed to safe the cat.

Kenrick was very happy but soon he felt sad for the little dirty cat that had injured her legs and couldn’t manage to walk by herself. So both of us carried it to a children’s playground nearby and left it in a safe place before giving her some drinks. I saw joy and satisfaction in the eyes of my son.

Later when we went back home, I told my son, my daughter Judith Kavithra, 9, and their
cousin from the neighborhood the story of the “Good Samaritan”. I turned the Bible to
LUKE 10:30-37 and narrated the illustration Jesus shared with his disciples: “A Jewish
man was traveling on a trip from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he was attached by bandits.
They stripped him of his clothes and money, beat him up, and left him half dead beside the road.

“By chance a Jewish priest come along; but when he saw the man lying there, he crossed to the other side of the road and passed him by. A temple assistant walked over and looked at him lying there, but he also passed by on the other side”. “Can we do this?” I asked them who were hearing the story attentively. They replied: “No!”

I continued with the illustration: “Then a despised Samaritan comes along, and when he saw the man, he felt deep pity. Kneeling beside him, the Samaritan soothed his wounds with medicine and bandaged them. Then he put the man on his own donkey and took him to an inn, where he took care of him.”

After telling the story, I asked the kids: “Among the three, which of them was a man with a good character and showed a good example? Certainly, they pointed to the Samaritan. So with that, I added by saying that those who chose to help the needy, like how Kenrick helped the little kitten from danger are called: “Good Samaritan”.
As a conclusion, I encouraged them to help one another, protect and watch over others and always be willing to help the poor and the needy including animals. But, I also warned them to be careful of those who try to take advantages. I told them to be wise and always try to get the help of an adult especially their parents in their attempt to help others.

After hearing the story, the kids feel heroic about giving a helping hand to others and sympathize with those who are in need. Hope this write up will also encourage you to be mindful of others and give you the courage to help another in times of need. Look around you….may be someone who is in deep need right now. It just takes a step of faith and courage and a hand of love and care to be stretched and reach out to the needy soul. Why not? You can make a difference!

#MATHEW 7:12 (Do for others what you would like them do for you.)

The end.
